Passionate about bringing out the best in people, Violetta brings a healthy dose of curiosity and empathy to her interactions in life and work. She is a seasoned consultant, facilitator, trainer and coach who has spent her professional career working with groups to address issues related to diversity, organizational structure, governance, and team building.
Violetta is inspired by the diversity of the world and loves to travel. She enjoys being challenged by difference and experiencing diverse people and cultures to broaden her own perspective and deepen her awareness.
She is deeply interested in learning about and contributing to our own evolution as humans by facilitating progress and consciousness raising.
In her work with people, she has become fascinated by the mystical hidden energy that can be felt around us - the field, as some call it. For example, the power of nature to calm or energize us, and our ability to harness these energies through alternative healing practises. Her explorations have led her to study alternative health, focusing on prevention and, is also co-owner of a business that explores how artificial intelligence can help practitioners improve the health of their patients more effectively.
Violetta completed her Master of Arts at the Process Work Institute in Portland, Oregon, in Conflict Facilitation and Organizational Change.
Professional Experience
Violetta’s past experience includes working in Community-based literacy, with street-involved youth at Frontier College, Policy Research and program development at the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Recreation; and 15 years in the philanthropic sector as Senior Consultant with the Laidlaw Foundation. During her time at the Laidlaw Foundation, she founded the Youth Engagement Program and the Ontario Youth Social Infrastructure Collaborative (YSI), and launched experimentation and research into shared platforms in the nonprofit sector.
